ABOUT

Hi, hello, bonjour!

This blog is about a pottery venture I started in France in 2002 wishing to share my pottery studio with visiting hobby potters.

From reading the blog it is easy to see that it went through turmoil, ups and downs and total fall out.

My name is Marie-Françoise Pérussault, aka Frankie. I'm a grand-mother hobby potter. I was born and raised in this area of France. After spending time in several English speaking countries throughout my life, I came back to my homeland in the year 2000.

I have a BA in Ethnology from the University 'Lumière' Lyon 2 in France and I studied one year towards an MA in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.

I speak fluent English and French and have working knowledge of German. I also studied Hebrew, Fulah and very little Chinese.

I will add that politically I am a Liberal and regarding religion I am a Christian Protestant. I shouldn't have to say that but, yes, it does matter!

Meet me in my pottery studio!... or elsewhere.
